I handed out student transcripts so that each student is aware of credit earned during their seminary career. I encouraged them to complete make-up work where necessary for the current and for previous years.
We reviewed and then had a quiz on the following key scripture passages: Alma 37:35, Alma 41:10, Helaman 5:12, 3 Nephi 11:29, and 3 Nephi 27:27. Students will be quizzed tomorrow on Mosiah 3:19, Mosiah 4:30, Alma 32:21, Alma 34:32-34, and Alma 37:6-7.
We read Moroni 6 and discussed what it means to qualify for baptism, to be “numbered among the people of the church of Christ,” and for one’s name to be “blotted out.” We need to follow the spirit in our meetings and rely upon the direction of the Lord as we serve Him.
